- 2 Tbsp. cold water
- 3 egg whites
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- pinch of salt
Directions

1Blend cornstarch and cold water in a saucepan.

2Add boiling water and cook, stirring until clear and thick.

3Let stand until cold.

4Beat egg whites until foamy.

5Gradually add sugar; beat until stiff, but not dry.

6Beat at low speed.

7Add salt and vanilla.

8Beat in cold cornstarch mixture.

9Beat on high until well beaten.

10Bake at 350° for 10 minutes after putting on pie.
