  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 34 cups shortening
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 12 cup cold water

Directions

    Combine dry ingredients; cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse meal.

    Divide dough into 5 equal parts; shape each into ball and wrap tightly.
