- 3 c. flour
- 1 1/4 c. vegetable shortening
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
Directions

1Mix the flour, shortening, sugar and salt well.

2Now mix the egg, water and vinegar.

3Combine the two mixtures, a little at a time, until all the dry ingredients are moist.

4Mold together with hands. Chill before rolling or keep in refrigerator up to a week. Makes 2 double crust 9-inch pies.
