- 4 to 4 1/2 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 3/4 c. shortening
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1/2 c. water
Directions

1Mix flour, sugar and salt.

2Cut in shortening.

3Beat egg and combine with vinegar and water.

4Sprinkle over flour and mix. Wrap in wax paper and chill 30 minutes.

5Can be kept in refrigerator up to 1 week or divide into 4 parts.

6Wrap each and freeze.

7Makes 4 shells or 2 double pies.
