- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/4 c. shortening
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 5 Tbsp. water
Directions

1Combine flour and salt in mixing bowl.

2Add shortening.

3With cool fingertips, work into flour to make fine crumbs.

4Combine egg, vinegar and water; stir to mix, then add to crumbs and stir with a fork to mix.

5Divide dough into 4 parts (makes enough for 2 double crust pies).

6Roll out each portion on lightly floured board.
