- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 1 stick oleo
- 8 eggs
- 3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cream the butter, oleo and sugar.

2Add vanilla.

3Sift the flour and salt together.

4Add 3 eggs and half of the dry ingredients to butter and sugar.

5Add 3 more eggs and remainder of dry ingredients.

6Add 2 more eggs and beat until all are well blended.

7Pour into greased tube pan.

8Bake at 275° for 1 1/4 hours, until firm.
