  • 2 cups rice (any)
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • salt

Directions

    Wash the rice three times and let it soak in water for 25-30 minutes before cooking.

    Boil the water and set aside.
  3. 3
    Fry the oil in a heavy based pan til very hot.
  4. 4
    Add the washed rice and salt and fry till lumps start to form .
  5. 5
    Now add the hot water and bring to boil.
  6. 6
    after 5 minutes reduce the heat to very low and let the rice cook till the grains are seperated.
