  • 1/3 cup pecans, toasted, coarsely chopped
  • cup plus 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • *also wonderful with summer peaches and blackberries
