Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. oleo
  • 1 unbeaten egg
  • 1 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 1/2 c. apples, pared and coarsely shredded
  • 1/2 c. chopped dates
  • 1/2 c. raisins or nuts

Directions

    Sift flour, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg together; set aside. Cream sugar and oleo.

    Add egg and milk; beat well.

    Gradually add dry ingredients to creamed mixture, then add apples, dates and raisins or nuts.

    Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes in greased pan or greased bowl.
