- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 c. undiluted evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 2 eggs
- 7 c. flour
- confectioners sugar
- oil to fry
Directions

1In large bowl, sprinkle yeast over warm water; stir to dissolve.

2Add sugar, salt, eggs, milk and shortening; blend well. Add flour, one cup at a time, blending well after each.

3Turn dough in oiled bowl; refrigerate about an hour.

4Cut out as much as you need to cook each time you need.

5(The rest of the dough can be kept in large bowl in refrigerator for a week.

6Cover dough in refrigerator with Saran Wrap and punch down everyday.)
