  • 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. curry powder
  • 2 c. blanched whole almonds
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
  • 2 c. pecan halves

    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat; stir in spices.

    Add almonds and cook 4 minutes, stirring constantly.

    Add pecans, stirring until coated.

    Spread in a 15 x 10 x 1-inch jellyroll pan.

    Bake at 325° for 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.
