- 2 (15 oz.) boxes vanilla wafers
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 c. white Karo syrup
- 1 lb. red candied cherries
- 1 lb. green candied cherries
- 1 lb. candied pineapple
- 1 (15 oz.) box golden raisins
- 1 pt. pecans, chopped
- 1 pt. English walnuts, chopped
Directions

1Crush wafers; mix with milk and syrup.

2Let warm to room temperature.

3In a separate bowl, mix fruits and nuts.

4Mix well with wafers.

5Pack tightly in a buttered pan that can be put in oven.

6Put into refrigerator overnight.

7Next day, preheat oven to 400° for 15 minutes.

8Then turn oven off and place cake in oven about 15 minutes.

9Run knife around edge of pan and turn cake out onto double layer of foil.

10Wrap and keep in refrigerator.
