  • 12 medium cucumbers
  • 1 onion
  • 1 red pepper or 1 jar pimentos
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1/4 c. salt
  • 2 c. white vinegar
  • 2 1/2 c. sugar

    Slice cucumbers, onion and peppers into a bowl.

    Add salt. Let stand for 3 hours or overnight.

    Rinse well.

    Make brine of vinegar and sugar; pour over pickles.

    Keep refrigerated.

    Store in any jar with rubber seal inside.
