- 5 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small red bell pepper, seeded and coarsely chopped
- 1 1/2 cups raw cashews
- 1/4 cup raw sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup nutritional yeast flakes
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup canola oil or 1/4 cup safflower oil
- 1 tablespoon Braggs liquid aminos
Directions

1Heat 1 Tbsp of the olive oil in a small frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the pepper and cook until tender, 5 to 7 minutes. Transfer the pepper to a blender.

2Add all remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. The spread will keep up to a week in the fridge.
