- 1 lb. confectioners powdered sugar
- 1/3 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/3 c. light corn syrup
Directions

1Mix all ingredients together until well blended.

2Put on board and knead until perfectly smooth and satiny.

3Tint with food coloring if desired.

4Shape and use as desired in making any of the following candies.

5Store fondant airtight if not being used at once.

6Will keep several days at room temperature.

7Yield: About 1 1/3 pounds.
