- 4 1/2 c. warm water
- 3 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 to 1 c. dry milk
- 1/4 to 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 to 1 c. shortening
- 4 tsp. salt
- 2 to 4 eggs
- 6 c. flour (white or whole wheat)
Directions

1Place water, yeast, milk, sugar, shortening, eggs, salt and 6 cups flour in mixer bowl.

2Beat at low speed for 3 minutes, scraping bowl from time to time.

3Pour over 6 1/2 to 7 cups flour and mix with spoon.

4Knead; let rise.

5Punch down and shape into 4 loaves.

6Rise again and bake at 375° for 35 minutes.
