- 5 c. flour
- 2 1/2 c. vegetable shortening
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 2 tsp. vinegar
Directions

1Combine flour, shortening and salt.

2Chop fine.

3Add vinegar to cup containing beaten egg.

4Fill cup with water.

5Add all at once to flour mixture and combine, using hands.

6Can be stored in refrigerator up to 2 weeks.

7Makes 3 (2 crust, 9-inch) pies.
