Ingredients
- 4 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 3/4 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 egg, well beaten
Directions

1Mix thoroughly flour, salt, sugar and shortening.

2Add water, vinegar and egg.

3Roll out on floured waxed paper and cut to the desired size.

4The recipe makes four 9-inch pie crusts.

5The extra crusts may be frozen for later use by separating crusts with sheets of waxed paper.

6With the wax paper below and above a crust, fold the crust in half twice.

7Place in a plastic bag, squeeze out the excess air, seal and freeze.

8Thaw before unfolding.

9Can be frozen in a lump and thawed and rolled out later.
