  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. flour (Pillsbury's Best all-purpose or unbleached; no self-rising flour)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk

Directions

    Preheat oven to 450°.

    Generously grease popover pans; do not use oil.

    In small bowl, beat eggs slightly.
  4. 4
    Add the remaining ingredients and beat until just blended; careful not to overbeat. Fill prepared cups half full of batter, about 1/3 cup.

    Bake at 450° for 15 minutes.

    Reduce oven temperature to 325° and bake 25 to 30 minutes or until deep golden brown.

    Serve immediately.

    If desired, serve from baking cups.

    Yields 6 or 7 large popovers.
