- 1 1/2 cups flour, all-purpose
- 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 cup sugar divided
- 2 tablespoons flour, all-purpose
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 6 cups apples thinly sliced, peeled
- 1/2 cup flour, all-purpose
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 cup margarine
- 1 dash black pepper
Directions

1CRUST: Place dry ingredients in 9 inch pie pan.

2Add milk to oil.

3Pour over dry ingredients.

4Mix with fork.

5When completely mixed bring crust up sides of pan to form pie shell.

6APPLE FILLING: Combine 1/2 cup sugar and 2 tablespoons flour.

7Set aside.

8Sprinkle apple slices with lemon juice.

9Toss apples with sugar mixture.

10Pour into pie crust.

11Combine remaining 1/2 cup of sugar, 1/2 cup flour, cinnamon and ginger.

12Cut in margarine until crumbly.

13Sprinkle on top of apples Bake at 375 for one hour.
