  • 1/2 lb. fine egg noodles
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 3/4 c. cold water
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 c. raisins (white or dark)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Boil noodles until soft; drain thoroughly.

    Beat the eggs until frothy.

    Combine all ingredients and mix well.

    Pour into a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex baking pan and place it into a cold oven.

    Turn the oven onto 350° and bake for one hour.
