Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. broad noodles, cooked and drained
- 1/4 lb. butter or margarine
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 lb. cottage cheese
- 1 pt. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. (approximately) nutmeg
Directions

1Beat egg, sugar and cheese for a few minutes.

2Add milk, salt and vanilla.

3Add almost all melted fat.

4Mix with noodles and pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch (or oval) baking dish.

5Sprinkle with nutmeg.

6Add chopped nuts and/or fruit, i.e. raisins, pears, etc.

7Dot with butter.

8Bake at 350° for approximately 1 hour. Serve warm or cold.

9Serves at least 12 people.
