  • 1 lb. Italian sausage
  • 1 large onion, cut in wedges and separated
  • 1 medium green pepper, cut into strips, then halved
  • 1 lb. zucchini, cut into 1/2-inch slices
  • 1/2 lb. mushrooms, cut in half
  • 1/4 c. Marsala wine
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 (15 oz.) can marinara sauce
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. rigatoni
  • 1/2 lb. Bel Paese, sliced thin, or Monterey Jack cheese, grated

Directions

    Brown whole sausages in 4-quart pot until thoroughly cooked. Remove sausages, cool and slice in 1/4-inch slices.
