  • Ice
  • 2 ounces aquavit
  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce elderflower syrup
  • 1/2 ounce Rich Simple Syrup
  • 2 dashes of orange bitters
  • 1 orange twist, for garnish
  • 5 mint leaves, smacked, plus 1 mint leaf for garnish

Directions

    Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

    Add all of the remaining ingredients except the garnishes and shake well.

    Double strain into a chilled martini glass.
  4. 4
    Pinch the orange twist over the drink, rub it around the rim of the glass, then drop it into the drink.

    Garnish with the remaining mint leaf.
