- 2 lb. flour
- 1 lb. Crisco
- 1 lb. sugar
- 2 lb. nuts (filberts or almonds), roasted
- 10 oz. pineapple preserves
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1/2 lb. dates, cut up
- 1/2 lb. raisins (optional)
- 4 eggs
Directions

1Mix Crisco with flour.

2Blend dry ingredients together, then add eggs and vanilla; blend well.

3Fold in pineapple and nuts last. Make into bar.

4Bake in 350° oven 15 or 20 minutes.
