  • 1-1/2 cup Flour
  • 3/4 cups Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/2 cups Butter
  • 12 ounces, weight Nuts, Any Variety

  • FOR THE SYRUP:
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 3/4 cups Butterscotch Chips
  • 1/2 cups White Corn Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla

Directions

    Combine flour, brown sugar, salt, and 1/2 cup butter and pat into a 9 x 13 pan. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.

    While crust is baking, prepare the syrup. Heat the butter, butterscotch chips, and corn syrup on medium to low heat until melted. Add vanilla.

    Remove crust from the oven and spread nuts evenly. Pour the syrup mixture over the nuts. Bake 10 more minutes at 350 degrees.

    Cut while lukewarm.
