  • 1 stick butter
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 bag vanilla sugar (Schueller's has it)
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • salt
  • 3/4 c. chopped nuts (hazelnuts or filberts)
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 3/4 c. finely chopped chocolate chips (optional)

Directions

    Preheat oven to 425°.

    Heat up the butter until creamy.

    Add sugar and vanilla; mix.

    Then beat in one egg at a time.

    Next add flour, baking powder, chopped nuts and chocolate chips.

    Finally add the milk.

    Mix until smooth and creamy.

    Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake approximately 35 minutes.
