- 2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 c. Karo syrup
- 1 1/2 c. evaporated milk
- 1/3 c. butter
- 1 c. nutmeats
Directions

1Stir sugar, syrup and milk together.

2Add butter and start on low fire to cook.

3Gradually increase heat as mixture starts cooking.

4Cook until hard ball forms when dropped in cold water. This takes 1/2 to 1 hour.

5Stir continuously.

6Cooks down very thick.

7Remove from fire, stir in nutmeats and spread on buttered tin.

8Cut in small squares and wrap in waxed paper.
