Ingredients

  • 3 egg whites
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 c. crushed graham crackers (approximately 11 sq.)
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts
  • whipped cream, Cool Whip or Dream Whip

Directions

    Beat egg whites stiffly.

    Slowly add sugar, vanilla, baking powder, crushed graham crackers and walnuts.

    Pour into a greased 9-inch pie tin.

    Bake for 1/2 hour (30 minutes) in 350° oven. Cool.

    Top with whipped topping.

    Chill at least 4 hours before serving.

    Can be prepared the day before (including topping) as it is almost tastier.
