- 2 c. shortening
- 6 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 6 egg yolks
- 2 c. cold milk
- 1 large household yeast
Directions

1Sift flour and salt.

2Cut in shortening with pastry blender. Beat the egg yolks with milk and crumble yeast into it.

3Stir until dissolved, then add to the flour/shortening mixture.

4Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight.

5Sprinkle sugar on pastry cloth and roll thin.

6Cut into squares; spread filling on it.
-
7Roll up and place on greased cookie sheets.

8Bake at 375° for 15 to 20 minutes.
