Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 pt. sour cream
  • 1 c. ground walnuts
  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Blend butter and flour together until crumbly.

    Add egg yolk and sour cream.

    Mix ground walnuts, granulated sugar and cinnamon together.

    Mix with a spoon until all is combined (very sticky). Form into ball.

    Place on floured wax paper and refrigerate overnight.

    Make four small balls out of the large.

    Roll each one out separately and sprinkle on about 4 tablespoons of the sugar and walnut mixture.

    Spread out and pat down.

    Cut into 16 pieces and roll from the outside to the center.

    Bake about 25 to 30 minutes at 325°.
