  • 2 eggs
  • 4 Tbsp. sugar
  • dash of salt
  • 1 1/2 c. hot milk
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg

Directions

    Beat eggs; add sugar and salt.

    Stir in hot milk and cook in top of double boiler.

    Stir until mixture coats a spoon.

    Remove from heat; add vanilla and nutmeg.

    Chill.

    Good on sliced pound cake.
