- 1/2 c. margarine
- 3/4 c. honey
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 c. applesauce
- 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. wheat germ
- 2 1/2 c. quick oats
- 1/2 c. bran (flake form)
- 1 c. chopped dates
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1/4 c. canned milk
Directions

1Cream margarine, honey, eggs, vanilla and applesauce in a large bowl.

2Mix thoroughly.

3Sift flour, baking powder and salt; add wheat germ and mix well.

4Blend in oats, dates, bran, nuts and milk.

5Add to egg mixture.

6Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets and bake at 350° for 15 minutes.

7Makes about 40 cookies.
