- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. margarine
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. quick cooking oats
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. nuts
Directions

1In a large bowl, combine 1 1/4 cups flour and the next 6 ingredients.

2Beat at medium speed until blended, then by hand, stir in 1 cup flour, oatmeal, nuts and chocolate chips.

3Drop by teaspoon, 2 inches apart, on ungreased cookie sheet.

4Bake at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown.

5Cool; remove from cookie sheet.

6Makes 6 to 7 dozen.
