- 1/2 lb. butter, softened
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. sifted plain flour
- 2 c. chopped nuts
- powdered sugar
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar, stir in vanilla.

2Combine about 2 tablespoons flour with nuts, toss to coat well.

3Add nuts and remaining flour to creamed mixture.

4Roll small amount of dough into the shape of dates.

5Place on baking sheet, bake at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes.

6Remove from pan and roll in powdered sugar. Makes three dozen.

7(These keep well and are so-o-o good.)
