- 4 medium tomatoes, halved
- peanut or vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. dried bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. chopped peanuts
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 3/4 tsp. dried leaf basil, crushed
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Brush tomato skins with oil.

3Place, cut side up, in 13 x 9-inch baking dish.

4Sprinkle with salt and set aside.

5Combine remaining ingredients in medium bowl, spoon mixture onto tomatoes.

6Bake 15 minutes.
