  • 2/3 c. margarine
  • 2/3 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 c. vanilla flavored yogurt
  • 1 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 c. oat bran
  • 1 Tbsp. grated orange peel
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 c. diced pitted prunes (if really dry, soak in hot water until plump)

    In 2 quart saucepan, melt margarine and remove from heat.
