  • 2-1/4 cups Lukewarm Water
  • 1 Tablespoon Active Dry Yeast
  • 1/4 cups Honey
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 cup Rolled Oats
  • 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 5 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1/4 cups Canola Oil Or Light Olive Oil

Put the lid on and let it sit for 10 minutes or so, until it gets frothy. Then add the rest of the ingredients into the bowl and mix until it just comes together and then check the dough for consistency - if it's very sticky, add a little flour, if it's dry add a little lukewarm water. The dough should feel just slightly sticky. Once the dough is the right consistency, mix on medium speed for about 8 minutes, then turn the dough out into a large oiled bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel and let rise in a warm place for about an hour.
