- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/2 c. sour milk
- 1/2 c. dried elderberries
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- dash of salt
- cooking oil
Directions

1Soak elderberries in milk for 48 hours in refrigerator.

2Add sugar to egg yolk and beat until light.

3Stir in sugar and yolk mixture into milk and berries.

4Add soda, flour, cinnamon and salt.

5Mix.

6Add to berry mixture.

7Drop by teaspoonful into hot cooking oil (360°) and deep fry until golden brown, turning occasionally.
