Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 1/4 c. old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 2 Tbsp. whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 c. yeast flakes
  • 3/4 c. chopped nuts (6 Tbsp.)
  • 1/4 c. dry onion flakes
  • 1 1/8 c. Vegeburger
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. sage
  • 1/2 tsp. basil
  • dash of garlic powder

Directions

    Boil all ingredients together except oats and soy sauce.

    Stir in oats and soy sauce and bring to boil again.

    Turn off heat. Form into patties and brown in oil-rubbed frypan about 12 minutes on each side.

    Serve with mushroom gravy or tomato sauce.

    Garnish with parsley or onion rings.
