  • 2 cups rolled oats (not quick)
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 12 cup wheat bran
  • 13 cup Splenda sugar substitute
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 12 cup margarine, softened
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla

Directions

    Combine all of the dry ingredients.

    Add margarine to the dry mixture until crumbly.

    Melting the margarine helps.

    Add egg, vanilla, and water.

    Form into a dough.

    Divide the dough into 16 bars, approximately 1/2 inch thick.

    Bake at 350F for 15 minutes on a parchment-lined cookie sheet.

    Flip them over and bake for another 10 minutes.
