- 1/3 c. oil
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce
- 1 c. rolled oats
- 2/3 c. wheat bran
- 1/2 c. nonfat dry milk powder
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
- 1 c. raisins
- 1/4 tsp. ground walnuts
Directions

1In a large mixing bowl, beat oil and brown sugar with an electric mixer until well blended.

2Add whole wheat flour, applesauce, oats, bran, milk powder, eggs, soda, cinnamon, baking powder, salt and cloves.

3Beat on low speed until combined.

4Stir in raisins and nuts.

5Spray a baking sheet with nonstick spray coating.

6Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough 2 to 3 inches apart onto baking sheet.

7Spread dough so each cookie is about 2 inches across.

8Bake in 375° oven for 10 minutes or until set.

9Cool on wire rack.

10Makes 4 dozen cookies.
