- 1 c. water
- 1 c. rolled oats
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. active dry yeast
- pinch of sugar
- 1/3 c. warm water
- 2 1/2 c. unbleached white flour (approximately)
Directions

1In a small saucepan, boil 1 cup water and add oats, honey, margarine and salt.

2Let cool.

3Combine yeast, sugar and 1/3 cup warm water in a large bowl or a food processor.

4Let proof.

5Add 2 cups flour to the yeast mixture.

6When oat mixture is warm, but not hot, add it to the flour mixture and knead dough 10 minutes or process 15 seconds or until dough is smooth and elastic, adding more flour if necessary.
