  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. honey
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 2/3 c. oil
  • 1 c. uncooked oatmeal
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 2 pkg. dry yeast
  • 6 c. flour

Directions

    Mix honey with salt, sugar, oil and oatmeal in large bowl. Add boiling water; when cooled to lukewarm, add yeast and eggs. When yeast is dissolved, add flour and mix.

    Leave in bowl, covered with clean towel, for 20 minutes.

    Turn onto floured board and knead, adding flour until soft and workable.

    Divide into two portions.

    Shape and let rise in warm place until doubled in bulk. Bake at 350° for 35 to 50 minutes.
