- 1 1/4 c. boiling water
- 1 c. quick oats
- 1 stick margarine or butter
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Pour boiling water over oats; let stand 20 minutes.

2In separate bowl, cream margarine and sugars.

3Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each egg.

4Add oat mixture.

5Mix together flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.

6Add to creamed mixture. Add vanilla; mix well.

7Bake at 350° in a 9 x 13-inch pan for 30 to 35 minutes.
