  • 1 c. quick oats
  • 1 1/4 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 c. oleo
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 1/3 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. soda

Directions

    Mix oats and boiling water together; set aside to cool.
  2. 2
    Cream together oleo, brown sugar, sugar, eggs, salt and cinnamon; add oatmeal mixture and blend well. Add flour and soda. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.
