  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 c. quick oatmeal
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. nuts (optional)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Put sugar, margarine and milk in saucepan; boil 1 minute.

    Add peanut butter and vanilla.

    Stir until melted.

    Pour over oatmeal (nuts too, if desired).
  5. 5
    Mix and drop by teaspoon on wax paper. Let set until cool and firm.

    Put in covered container.
