- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. peanut butter
- 3 c. quick oats (uncooked)
Directions

1Combine first 4 ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a full boil for one minute, stirring constantly.

2Add vanilla and peanut butter; stir until smooth.

3Add oats and mix well.

4Cool slightly until mixture holds shape.

5Drop by tablespoons onto wax paper or use 1 teaspoon for dipping up, then push off with a second teaspoon.

6Allow to cool, then store in a tightly covered container.
