- 3 cups water
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 -3 tablespoon honey (to taste)
Directions

1Put water into a medium saucepan.

2Add oats, butter & cinnamon.

3Heat mixture over high heat - stirring often - until it begins to bubble.

4Reduce heat to low.

5Stir in honey - or your preferred sweetener.

6Let the oatmeal cook over low heat until it has reached the desired thickness.

7(The longer you cook it, the thicker it will get).
