"Oh So Good" Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. diced celery
  • 1 c. chopped green pepper
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. cooked rice
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 small cans mushrooms and juice
  • 1 can sliced water chestnuts
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pkg. shredded cheese
  • 1 small can shoestring potatoes

Directions

    Brown onion, celery, pepper and beef in butter.

    Mix rice, soups, mushrooms and chestnuts.

    Mix altogether.

    Put into a 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Top with shredded cheese and shoestring potatoes. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
